We have lots of singers using our Karaoke discs as backing tracks, and most of the time it is not a problem. The difference between a Karaoke disc and a designated backing track is the amount of vocals on the track. A Karaoke disc is a remake of the original song with just the lead vocal removed, any backing vocals will still be on the disc. A backing track is usually just an instrumental version of the song, without any vocals what so ever.
