Fog machines are cheaper, cleaner, more user friendly and a lot less likely to set off smoke detectors. This Zoom Smokestream comes with a brilliant wireless remote control, which has a range of about 50m. The liquid used in a fog machine is water based, rather than a fog machine witch is oil based, resulting in the fog produced has a much more agreeable smell, does not get heavy and settle on furniture/carpet e.t.c! Yet still has a thick enough volume to blanket the venue with light effective mist!
