Pink Floyd's £1.4m ($1.8m) Recording Desk Sold at Auction

This week has seen a piece of musical memorabilia be sold at auction for a staggering £1.4m. The analogue recording desk was used to record Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album at Abbey Road Studio. The desk itself resided in Studio Two between 1971 and 1983. The EMI TG12345 MK IV was the only desk ever made and was used in Recording Studio Two at Abbey Road; many artists including The Cure, Paul McCartney, Kate Bush and George Harrison were a few legends to use it.
